Student Success: Jessica Felix
Jessica Felix (’19 DVM) is a second year student at Washington State University, with a special interest in in Food Animal Medicine. Originally from Nevada, she made the long trek to Washington following a lifelong love of caring for animals. This love began when she participated as a youth in both 4-H and FFA. She went on to get her bachelor’s degree at University Nevada, Reno in veterinary science before coming to Washington State. She volunteers over the summer at the Washington State Grizzly Bear Research Enrichment Program and is an active member of Class of 2019 Student Council serving as Secretary. Upon graduation in 2019, Jessica plans to work in the poultry industry. In her spare time she enjoys going on outdoor adventures with her hiking enthusiast dog, Manny.
