Student Success: Joe Marchell
Joe Marchell (’19 DVM) is a fourth year veterinary student at Washington State University with an interest in small animal medicine and business management. Joe grew up in a small coastal community in New Hampshire. He spent time working in small animal veterinary clinics and dairy farms. In 2015 he received his B.S. in agricultural sciences from the University of Vermont and was awarded the Klein Memorial Scholarship and Distinguished Undergraduate Research Award for his work on bovine mastitis. He currently serves as the president of the Veterinary Business Management Association at WSU. Upon graduation, Joe plans to enter small animal private practice.
