Curtis Oesch Miller (’23, DVM) is a third-year veterinary student with an interest in mixed animal medicine. Originally from southern Idaho, he spent many Saturdays in his dad’s vet clinic, eventually realizing that he also had a passion for animal medicine. Curtis went on to study Biochemistry and applied to Washington State’s veterinary program during the third year of his undergraduate studies. As a WSU student Curtis participates in several clubs including the Veterinary Business Management Association (VBMA) and the Ag Animal Club.
Outside of school he works part-time at a mixed animal practice in Potlatch, ID, and enjoys spending time fishing, hiking, and skiing. Curtis got married in October 2020 to his wife Sarah, and they now spend lots of time playing with their Australian Shepherd/Border Collie puppy named Lucy. When he graduates in May 2023, Curtis hopes to work at a mixed animal practice and has specific interests in small animal surgery and bovine medicine.
